Renewable Energy of Rice Brand Oil
"Alternative Energy Utilization of Rice Bran Oil as A Raw Material for The Manufacture of Biodiesel Potential In-situ Method with Two Stages" Mohammad Afifudin; Novi Amelia; Syarif Faturokhman Universitas Jenderal Soedirman Abstract: The development of alternative energy such as biodiesel is one of the solutions to the exploitation of renewable energy is not like petroleum. However, the main constraints bulk biodiesel production is the high cost of production. This fact can be overcome by the use of cheap raw materials, simplifying the production process and utilization of byproducts. One of the cheap and alternative raw material for biodiesel is the rice bran oil. Rice bran became the choice because Indonesia is the third largest grain producer in the world, producing bran as much as 3.5 million tons per year. Waste utilization of rice in Indonesia have a lot done, as cattle feed, and a mycological planting media. However, it is still very rarely used for biodiesel ...
